Nurses at Tan Tock Seng Hospital have nearly halved the time they take to record patients’ blood pressure, pulse rate and other vital signs, thanks to a gadget which captures data on the go.
The Medical Device Interface （MDI）— which runs on a tablet computer — automatically captures readings at a patient’s bedside and wirelessly uploads them to an electronic clinical chart.
